Cookie Policy

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off through the app:

• Session / authentication — a secure, HTTP-only cookie set at sign-in that keeps you logged in and lets us revoke sessions server-side. Without it you cannot use your account.
• CSRF protection — a token used to prevent cross-site request forgery on authenticated actions.
• Language preference — remembers whether you use Tracecanon in English or Spanish.

Because these are strictly necessary for a service you have requested, they do not require consent under EU/UK law.

2. Local storage

The app may use your browser’s local storage to hold interface state — for example, which parts of a resumable upload have already arrived, and lightweight UI preferences — so that after a page refresh, choosing the same file again continues the upload instead of starting over. It holds no file contents, stays in your browser, is removed when the upload completes, and is not a tracking mechanism.

3. No advertising or cross-site tracking

We do not run third-party advertising, marketing pixels, social-media trackers, or cross-site analytics SDKs. Payments are processed by Stripe; any Stripe cookies apply only within the checkout/billing flow you initiate and are governed by Stripe’s own policies.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings, but blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will prevent you from signing in and using the Service. See your browser’s help pages for instructions.

5. Changes and contact
